Cornus alba 'Baton Rouge' ® 'Minbat' is a shrub that grows up to 2 m tall with stiff and upright stems. The variety
obtained in the nurseries of Minier in France in 2007. It is completely resistant to frost and for this reason is readily planted in gardens, parks and urban green areas. It does well in full sun and partial shade. It tolerates light soils and dry sites as well as harsh urban conditions. It takes on the most striking appearance in autumn and winter when, after the leaves fall, the bright red color of the shoots appears.

The most colorful shoots are one-year and two-year, so it should be pruned every 2 years. Due to its many advantages, it is a recommendable plant.
