Description
Hydrangea paniculata ‘Diamant Rouge’® is an unusual variety because of the amazing caramino colour of the flowers. They are initially white to take on a final dark colour over time. Set on stiff stems, they do not require any support despite being very large ( they reach a size of 30 - 40cm). Flowers for a long time as it starts already in June and ends at the end of summer. Suitable both for cutting into bouquets and for planting singly or in groups. It is a distinctive accent
in the garden which gives the garden a different dimension. It was found by Jean Renault.
The best recommendation for the quality of this variety is theSilver Medal Plantarium Zilver 2011.
‘Diamond Rouge’® prefers humus-rich soils. It can grow in both full sun and partial shade. As with other varieties of bouquet hydrangea - it requires pruning at the end of winter.
With ‘Diamond Rouge’® you will gain diamonds in your garden!
