Description
Kniphofia Poco „Yellow” reaches a height of up to 45 cm. Its characteristic inflorescences consist of tubular flowers that are greenish at first and then turn yellow, orange or deep red during flowering. The flowers are arranged in spike-like panicles on long stalks, giving the plant a striking appearance. The leaves are long, narrow and lanceolate, forming a rosette at the base.
Requirements
Red Hot Poker prefers job positions sunny to partially shaded. It likes well-drained, nutrient-rich soil with moderate moisture. The plant is relatively drought-resistant, but does not tolerate very wet locations. In colder climates, it is advisable to protect it for the winter, as it is sensitive to severe frost.
