Description
Albizia julibrissin OMBRELLA ® ‘Boubri’ called silk tree is an exotic plant with a wide flat crown and extremely decorative flowers of intense amaranth pink.
These flowers resemble a bunch of silk threads - hence the name ‘silk tree’. It blooms very profusely throughout the summer. Its very large leaves, reaching up to 40 cm, resemble those of a mimosa - they fold up in the evening to unfold again in the morning.
Requires a sunny location. It withstands the frost zone down to -20 oC.
This plant can be planted in many both small and larger gardens.
