Description
Hydrangea paniculata ‘Limelight’® is a unique variety of bouquet hydrangea that paved the way to fame for other hydrangeas of the species. The huge flowers initially celadon-white turn a less or more intense pink in late summer. It is a recommended plant for any type of garden, both as a solitary and for planting in groups or as a hedge cover. It is often treated as a cut flower. Cut inflorescences at full maturity can be dried and used as a valuable part of dry bouquets. It requires fertile, slightly acidic and permeable soil, and a sunny or partly shaded position.
Annual fertilisation of the hydrangea results in very abundant flowering and juicy coloured inflorescences.
The variety ‘Limelight’® can be planted in any area as it is characterised by its exceptional frost resistance.
