Description
Cornus alba ‘Miracle’ is a shrub that grows to 2/3 m tall and a similar width. It is completely frost resistant and is recommended for planting in home gardens where it can form distinctive colour compositions with other plants. Sunny positions will give the plant good foliage colouration. Tolerates light soils and dry sites as well as harsh urban conditions. A year-round effective plant in spring and summer, it impresses with its white-red edged foliage, in autumn the leaves turn an intense pink and purple before falling. In winter, when the leaves fall, Cornus alba ‘Miracle’ impresses with the bright red colour of the stems.
One- and two-year-old shoots are most colourful, so it should be pruned every two years. Because of its many advantages, it is a highly recommended plant.
