Description

Botanically, the variety 'Joel' from the Christmas Roses series belongs to the species Helleborus niger. Other varieties we offer include: Helleborus HGC® ‘John’, Helleborus HGC® ‘Jerry’, and Helleborus HGC® ‘Wintergold’. 'Joel' is one of the hellebores belonging to the Helleborus Gold Collection, which was bred by breeder Josef Heuger.
Hellebores from the Christmas Roses series are hardy, low-maintenance, perennial plants that start blooming as early as November and delight with white flowers throughout the winter. They are also suitable for planting in containers on balconies, terraces, etc.
This evergreen perennial requires a sheltered, semi-shaded location, rich, well-drained soil with a neutral pH.
