Description
Botanically, the variety SP® ‘Elly’ from the Lenten Roses series is classified as a hybrid of the species Helleborus x hybridus.
Spring Promise ® (Helleborus x hybridus) encompasses a wide range of hellebore varieties bred by Josef Heuger and belonging to the Helleborus Gold Collection.
Spring Promise ® offers nearly endless diversity in colors and shapes. These plants bloom from January to late spring.
Helleborus HGC® SP® ‘Elly’ blooms profusely. Its flowers are large, dense, and dark pink with a pronounced darker pattern.
This evergreen perennial requires a sheltered, semi-shaded location with humus-rich, well-draining soil of neutral pH.
