Description
Botanically, the variety ‘SP® ‘Lily’ ’ from the Lenten Roses series is classified as a hybrid of the species Helleborus x hybridus.
Spring Promise ® ( Helleborus x hybridus ) encompasses a wide range of hellebore varieties bred by Josef Heuger and belonging to the Helleborus Gold Collection.
Spring Promise ® offers nearly endless diversity in colors and shapes, with perennials blooming from January to late spring.
The name of the Helleborus HGC® SP® ‘Lily’ variety is not accidental; its flowers are full and large, about 7cm in size. The effective pink coloring along the veins of the white petals gives the flowers a pinkish hue.
This evergreen perennial thrives in a sheltered, semi-shaded location with humus-rich, well-drained soil and a neutral pH level.
