Helleborus HGC® ‘Winter Ballet Liara’

Description

Botanically, the variety HGC® ”Winter Ballet Liara” from the Christmas Roses series is classified as a hybrid of the species Helleborus x lemperii. We also offer other varieties from the ‘Winter Ballet’ series: Helleborus HGC® ‘Winter Ballet Katie’ and Helleborus HGC®  ‘Winter Ballet Karli’.
‘Winter Ballet’ (Helleborus x lemperii) is a new range of hellebore varieties bred by Josef Heuger and belonging to the Helleborus Gold Collection. The flower color of the ‘Winter Ballet’ varieties is brighter and more glossy compared to other plants. The ‘Winter Ballet’ varieties are more compact than Ice N’ Roses, making them better suited for container planting.
The variety ‘Winter Ballet Liara’ is characterized by high frost resistance and very early flowering dates. The blooming is very profuse, with large flowers on strong, long stems.
‘Winter Ballet Liara’ is an evergreen perennial that requires a sheltered, semi-shaded location with loamy, well-drained soil and a neutral pH level.
