Description
The inflorescences of Hydrangea paniculata ‘Fraise Melba’® are slender but full.
Initially white in late July/early August, they then gradually transform to red from the bottom to the top. The contrast of the two colours is reminiscent of MELBA STRAWBERRY. The highly decorative, red and white duo lasts a long time. The inflorescences colour completely in dark pink until the early
autumn. These colours may vary depending on exposure, climate and soil type.
An upright, very attractive shrub in summer, it is ideal for any garden and is a garden ornament for several months.
It looks great in large containers and also in beds with perennials and other deciduous plants.
Award-winning variety:
- Bronze medal at PLANTARIUM 2014 ( Boskoop - Netherlands ),
- Bronze medal at Innovert® 2015 in the Nursery category ( Angers - FRANCE ).
