Description

Hydrangea paniculata ‘Polestar’® is a very early and compact hydrangea that splashes with numerous flowers until the end of summer. Originating from Dharuma
bouquet hydrangea ‘Polestar’® is unique for its early and abundant flowering. The first buds appear at the end of May and flower in early June. The flowers change colour as they mature, adding to their attractiveness: initially greenish-white, changing to creamy yellow, then pink, until an intense red-pink in end of summer. The large sterile flowers are arranged in flat inflorescences.
This is an exceptionally compact plant that reaches a maximum height of 40 cm. Very resistant to frost. Requires a sunny position but does well in the shade. ‘Polestar’® is ideal for planting in large containers, in the garden or in small beds. It is an easy and low maintenance plant. Pruning should be limited to simple cleaning only, otherwise it will weaken flowering.
