Description
Ice N’ Roses® is a new genetically bred variety of hellebores that is prolific, resilient, and abundantly flowering with intensely colored flowers. The plants bloom from December to April, and some continue blooming until spring.
Botanically, HGC® Ice N’ Roses® ‘Purple Sunrise‘ is classified as Helleborus x glandorfensis, an interspecific hybrid of several hellebores.
The species name was given on the occasion of the State Garden Exhibition in Bad Iburg, Germany, in 2018.
This evergreen perennial requires a sheltered, semi-shaded location with humus-rich, well-drained soil with a neutral pH.
