Description
Magnolia 'Laura' takes the form of a small tree, has a distinct guide and a nice wide columnar habit, and grows to about 5m tall.
It is characterised by its very vigorous growth and large leaves and branches with smooth grey bark.
Magnolia 'Laura' is a variety with extremely showy and fragrant blue pink flowers. The petals ( tepals ) oval and wide, darker at the base, at the upper edge and on the internal side almost white, open wide and look extremely beautiful and impressive. The diameter of the flowers when fully open reaches up to 25 cm. The variety flowers again in the summer.
Magnolia 'Laura' requires a humus, permeable, slightly acidic substrate and a shady, sunny position.
