Description
Magnolia 'Limelight' has the form of a small tree, it is a fast-growing variety growing to 6-8m tall with a spreading and upright habit. One of the best yellow magnolias. It is recommended for larger gardens and landscaped areas.
The rather narrow calyxes of the flowers are citrine yellow, somewhat reminiscent of tulips, appearing in late IV and early V providing a distinct accent against the developing foliage. The flowers emit a delicately pleasant fragrance. Under favourable conditions it can repeat flowering in summer.

The cultivar 'Limelight has large elliptical green leaves, which turn yellow in autumn.
Magnolia requires a humus, permeable, slightly acidic substrate and a sheltered, sunny position.
