Magnolia 'Simple Pleasures' has the form of a small tree or large shrub with an oval habit, the magnolia grows to a height of 4 m. Bred by Dennis Ledvina of Green Bay Botanical Garden in Wisconsin.
It is suitable for any garden. It is classed as a hearty and fairly late flowering variety, which minimises the possibility of frost damage to the flowers. An extremely frost resistant variety.
Magnolia 'Simple Pleasures' is a variety with large lavender-pink delicately scented flowers that already appear on young plants.
Magnolia requires a humus, permeable, slightly acidic substrate and a sheltered, sunny position.
