Description
Fagus sylvatica 'Dawyck Gold' is a tall tree with upright branches that retain their shape. It was developed from a cross between the cultivars 'Dawyck' and 'Zlatia'. The crown
columnar reaches a height of 20 m. It is approximately 3 m wide. The oval or egg-shaped leaves turn golden yellow in spring. The leaf is light green in summer, turning golden yellow in autumn, leaf size 4 - 9 cm. The tree has an inconspicuous inflorescence followed by small nuts in autumn.
'Dawyck Gold' is suitable as a solitary.
