Witch hazels can be planted both individually and in groups.
Hamamelis intermedia ‘Jelena‘ is a large deciduous shrub with a spreading habit, featuring broad leaves that turn red and yellow in autumn. Its flowers are striking copper-orange, with a diameter of up to 2.5 cm.Awarded the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit in 1996 for the best garden plant.
