Magnolia 'Alixeed' is a small tree with a single leading shoot, growing to 4 metres.
'Alixeed' blooms profusely in April, the flowers are large and pleasantly fragrant. The flowers of the variety 'Alixeed' are blue pink in colour with a slight powdery tinge.

Magnolia 'Alixeed' makes an amazing impression during flowering, beautifully adorning the early spring landscape.
Unlike other magnolia varieties, the petals ( tepals ) of 'Alixeed' are more oval and remain raised until the end of flowering.
Magnolia 'Alixeed' requires a humus, permeable, slightly acidic substrate and a shady, sunny position.
