Magnolia 'Sweet Rose' has the form of a small tree with a compact habit and grows up to 4m high.
Suitable for small gardens, the variety is frost hardy to -21oC.
Magnolia 'Sweet Rose' is a variety with an interesting flower colour and very fleshy petals ( tepals ) in wine red. It is characterised by a discreet charm of elegance. In the early stages of flowering, the flowers resemble those of a large-flowered rose.
Magnolia 'Sweet Rose' requires a humus, permeable, slightly acidic substrate and a sheltered, sunny position.
