Echinacea, known as coneflower, is a genus of plants in the asteraceae family Asteraceae that includes about 10 species. The most popular are Echinacea purpurea (purple coneflower) and Echinacea angustifolia (narrow-leaved coneflower). These plants are characterised by their beautiful, large flowers with radial petals that come in different colours, mainly pink, purple or white, and a central cone-shaped inflorescence. Hedgehogs are known not only for their decorative qualities, but also for their health-promoting properties.
