Description

AlliumIn Orbit'® is a beautiful allium variety that impresses not only with its unique appearance but also with its long flowering period. The distinctive spherical inflorescences are made up of hundreds of small, bell-shaped flowers in shades of intense purple, making the plant an eye-catcher and giving the garden a unique charm.

Requirements

  • Location: Grows best in full sun, although it can tolerate partial shade.
  • Soil: Prefers well-drained, fertile soil; tolerates sandy and clayey soil, but does not tolerate standing water.
  • Humidity: Moderate irrigation; avoid excessive watering, which promotes onion rot.

Decorative qualities
AlliumIn Orbit'® not only impresses with its colour, but also with the original shape of its inflorescences, which last a long time, both on the plant and after cutting. The flowers attract bees and butterflies, adding life to the garden. The plant also has attractive green leaves that remain decorative even after flowering.

Usage

  • Garden rationales: Excellent both as a solitary and in groups.
  • Cut flowers: Suitable for bouquets due to the durability of cut flowers.
  • Naturalistic gardens: Blends well with other perennials and bulbous plants.
  • Rock Plots: Its low growth and interesting shape make it ideal for planting in rock gardens.
