Description
Echinacea purpurea 'Delicious Strawberry’ is a decorative coneflower with an upright, clump-forming habit and fuller flowers in strawberry-pink tones 🌸. In the local photos, the cultivar forms a strongly filled raspberry-strawberry center and lighter pink outer petals 🌿.
🌸 Flower colour:
- Flowers in shades of strawberry pink and raspberry pink, with a darker, more strongly colored center.
🌼 Flower structure:
- Fuller flowerheads with a raised, densely filled center and longer outer petals.
🌿 Plant habit:
- A perennial with an upright, clump-forming habit; for the species Echinacea purpurea, approx. 60-100 cm in height and 45-60 cm in width is given.
🌱 Requirements and Uses:
- Best grown in full sun to part shade, in well-drained, average to fertile soil with moderate moisture.
- Good for perennial borders, naturalistic compositions, plantings with ornamental grasses, and container growing.
